Statutory Holiday Hours & Vacation Policy

With the holiday season approaching, we would like to take a moment to clarify our upcoming Statutory Holiday observance and our Vacation Policy.

 

STATUTORY HOLIDAY OBSERVANCE

The office will be closed on the following days:

  1. Wednesday, December 25th – Christmas Day

  2. Thursday, December 26th – Boxing Day (Ontario Only)

  3. Wednesday, January 1st – New Year’s Day

 

VACATION REMINDER

The holiday season is often a good time to schedule some down time and time with family and friends. We encourage you to log onto your PurelyHR to verify your remaining vacation entitlement and schedule accordingly. Vacation should typically be booked during the calendar year in which it is earned, and we ask that all 2024 vacation entitlement be taken by December 31st, 2024.

 

VACATION CARRYOVER

We encourage everyone to enjoy their full vacation entitlement each year. However, if you need to carry over some days, you may carry forward a maximum of 5 days into the next calendar year. Please note that any carried-over vacation must be used or scheduled by March 31, 2025, to avoid forfeiture.
