Introducing the Safety MVP Program
At Plan Group, safety is our top priority. To strengthen our safety culture, we’re excited to officially launch the Safety MVP Program—an employee-led initiative that recognizes individuals who consistently go above and beyond to promote safety.
What is the Safety MVP Program?
This program is designed to honour employees who demonstrate exceptional commitment to safety. You can nominate a colleague for one of these categories:
Innovation – Introducing new ideas to enhance safety.
Upholding our HSE Program & WeCare Culture – Promoting and living our safety values.
Leadership – Leading by example to foster a safer workplace.
Stopping Unsafe Work – Taking action to prevent unsafe practices.
How to Nominate:
It’s quick and easy! Submit your nomination through the online form, which is accessible via the QR code on new hard hat stickers, job box stickers, safety boards, tailgate sign-off sheets, PG Insider, and Onsite Insider.
Filling out the form takes just 1 minute—simply include the details and reasons for your nomination.
Selection Process:
Each quarter, the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) will randomly select winners from the nominations. Winners will be announced and can choose from a selection of exciting prizes.
This is your chance to spotlight those who prioritize safety and help enhance our WeCare safety culture.
Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility:
Remember, safety is a shared commitment. Always prioritize your safety, your environment, and those around you. Feel empowered to speak up and stop work if you see unsafe conditions. We all play a role in identifying hazards and ensuring that safety comes first.
The Safety MVP Program is a great way to encourage these actions and celebrate our teams' exceptional efforts in keeping each other safe.
