As a result of our most recent COR Audit, we're proud to report that we currently uphold COR Certification from coast to coast in Ontario, Nova Scotia, BC, and Alberta. And thanks to the hard work and dedication of our HSE Team, Plan Group has maintained our COR Certified status in Ontario since 2016—That said, our most recent COR audit was no easy feat.
For those who don't know, being a COR Certified company means we have a proven track record of compliance with The Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA), and we are held to a higher standard of excellence. We take pride in upholding this certification because it ensures a safe working environment for our employees and demonstrates our commitment to occupational health and safety.
Our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) was put through a thorough evaluation, which assessed our approach to implementing regular corrective measures and preventive actions—together with various additional safety protocols. This evaluation aimed to promote the continuous improvement of our health and safety performance and ensure that our OHSMS is up-to-date with the latest standards.
It was a rigorous process that took several months and required meticulous planning, documentation, and evaluation. But our HSE team was up for the challenge, and this recent achievement would not have been possible without their unwavering dedication to Plan Group's Safety Culture.
Our commitment to safety has been actively backed by our field staff, who join forces to make safety their top priority each and every day.
