November is Long-Term Care Awareness Month - a time to recognize the essential role that long-term care plays in the lives of many individuals and their families.
Long-term care involves custodial care and assistance with the basic activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, dressing, and more. Many people turn to long-term care homes to be provided with this type of vital support. These homes are necessary and helpful for individuals requiring specialized care and for family members who may not be able to provide that care on their own.
We are proud to have contributed to long-term care home projects that have made a positive impact on many people's lives. Our projects include:
Humber Meadows Long-Term Care Home Lakeridge Health Long-Term Care Home
Mechanical scope of work Electrical and technology scope of work
Both of these projects are making a meaningful difference on the surrounding communities. Lakeridge Health alone provides the community with 320 beds, significantly improving the capacity issues currently faced within Ontario’s long-term care system.
This month, let us take a moment to recognize and appreciate the significant contributions of long-term care homes, the hard-working caregivers, and the individuals they support.
